David is a practicing Family & Couple Therapist with over 40 years experience in Mental Health Service. He is the Founding Director of The Delta Clinic since 2010, a private “one stop therapy centre” specialising in Child & Adolescent Mental Health in Baulkham Hills, (Sydney) Australia.

David has over 25 years experience working with Children and Adolescents with serious Emotional & Behavioural issues, or Mental Health problems, & their Families. He was the Senior Nursing Manager of Redbank House, a specialist Mental Health Tertiary service for Children & Adolescents in Western Sydney and has worked for 15 years in the Catholic School System as an outreach Family Therapist/Consultant and School Counsellor.

David’s broad experienced in Acute Adult Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Trans-cultural Mental Health, School Systems and Systemic Training as well as his experience in Family Dispute Resolution and Management have enriched his understanding and enabled him to appreciate the complexity of Mental Health concerns by parents in relation to their children’s challenges.

David has worked for 5 years providing Consultation Liaison Services in the Emergency Department of a major Teaching Hospital. He has developed innovative approaches in working systemically with Suicidal Depressed Adolescents at point of crisis, ADHD and Family System and School Refusal. He finds discovering and mobilising resources in the “system” and looking for competence is a more positive and liberating experience for his clients and families.

Since 2005, David has ongoing Advanced Family Therapy Training and Supervision under the guidance of Professor Maurizio Andolfi, Master Family Therapist and Director of the prestigious Accademia di Psicoterapia Familiare in Rome, Italy.

In July 2016, David launched the Graduate Diploma of Multi-generation Family Therapy, a joint project with the Accademia di Psicoterapia Familiare in Rome, Italy.

Suparna is a registered Clinical Psychologist in Australia, with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and an M. Phil (2-year fellowship) in the area of Clinical Psychology from India’s premier institute, National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS). She possesses a high level of competency and experience in counselling, instruction and psycho diagnostics in the areas of adult, child and adolescent mental health.

She is a very experienced therapist with a wide range of expertise. She describes herself as integrative and creative in her approach to therapy, and draws on systemic and psychodynamic as well as cognitive and behavioural therapies. She work with children, adults, couples and families.

A particular area of interest for Suparna is long term therapy, especially using the Schema Therapy model and working with difficulties of childhood origin.

At present, in addition to private practice she works in the public health system providing assessment and treatment in Psycho-oncology. She works with people with a new diagnosis of cancer, with people on clinical trials as well as in supportive and palliative care.

She sees her key strengths as compassion and the ability to build good relationships with clients and colleagues. To draw on a depth and breadth of training and experience in therapy, giving her flexibility, insight and appreciation of complexity. Suparna is passionate about her work and has a strong interest in helping people develop to their fullest potential.

She is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

She is a board approved supervisor for Clinical Masters students and also provide supervision to registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists.

She is also an accredited Mindfulness teacher.

Nikki Allan is a mental health occupational therapist. She has many years of experience working with young people with mental health disorders at the Westmead Children’s Hospital and in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Community Team. Nikki has a particular interest in Autism, sensory processing, and trauma. She works with young people and their carers/families to increase their skills and provide strategies to increase participation in everyday life, such as in work, school, their social life, and family relationships. Nikki uses trauma-informed and puts relationships at the center of therapy. Nikki provides Animal Assisted Therapy Intervention with her Therapy Dog, Ollie. You may see Ollie around the Delta Clinic and you are welcome to say Hi and give Ollie a pat. Nikki also provides telehealth services.

Nikki also provides services under the NDIS and is a registered mental health care provider under the Better Access Mental Scheme through Medicare.

Hamida is an Approved Victim Services Counsellor, Therapist, AASW accredited Social Worker and Trainer. Her work is dedicated to empowering her clients and supporting their needs.

Hamida provides therapy, counselling and psychosocial support to individuals and groups going through different crises and mental health conditions. She works with people impacted by sexual assault or abuse, domestic violence; affected by grief and loss, societal inequality, biases, gender identity, sexual identity; struggling with life or personal issues relating to self-esteem, confidence, body image, health, relationships, work, unemployment etc.

Her crisis support experience as a supervisor, senior team leader and crisis support training lead has helped her look beyond the obvious and dig deeper into how life crises can devastate us in the moment or in different situations and our innate capacity to find resilience when there appears to be no way out.

Kristy has a wealth of experience in the medical profession for over 20 years. During these years Kristy has cultivated a special interest to pursue counselling as a second career choice, in particular being aspired to work with children, adolescent and their families.

You will find Kristy a compassionate and empathetic counsellor who is very passionate about helping families and empowering them in their journey of healing and enrichment. Her caring nature and maturity, and her dedication as a trained specialist, a mother and her life experience are asset to her being a counsellor.

Since 2018, Kristy has been involved with Family Enrichment Australia in a leadership role as well as a trainer and facilitator. She has also contributed at an International level assisting the development and establishment of International Federation for Family Development [IFFD] in South Korea, teaching English for disadvantage children in the Province of Batdambang, Cambodia as well as contributing her services to couples attending pre-marital courses related to fertility education. Kristy has volunteered her services for “Pregnancy Help” for 2 years as well as leading number of support groups for young mothers as the head, facilitator and organiser since 2013.

Kristy firm belief, in enriching families has meant her desire and passion to be trained and develop herself as a Family Therapist under the direct clinical supervision with David Hong, a trained family therapist and Accredited Clinical Supervisor and Founding Director of Delta Clinic.

Kristy is currently pursuing her Masters in Counselling at Excelsia University.
